Digester machine in PT. Mount Maras Lestari suf ered a lot of damage
ranging from light, moderate, to severe damage. This is because these machines
rarely carry out preventive maintenance because there is no preventive maintenance
system for these machines. Therefore, a preventive maintenance system will be
designed for the machine tools at PT. Mount Maras Lestari. The design of this
preventive maintenance system uses data collection methods, both machine data and
preventive maintenance data based on theories from several books on preventive
maintenance. Then from this data, a preventive maintenance system was designed
with guidelines sourced from books on preventive maintenance. The results of the
preventive maintenance system design consist of engine maintenance planning data, annual maintenance schedules, monthly maintenance programs, periodic and routine
maintenance inspection cards, machine maintenance data cards, machine history
cards, and procedures for carrying out preventive maintenance. The preventive
