Abstract
Damage issues in CoreXY-type 3D printers can hinder the printing process and
prototype production, making proper maintenance—specifically Corrective
Maintenance—necessary. This study aims to identify the damage, perform repairs,
and restore the functionality of the CoreXY 3D printer to ensure optimal operation.
The methods used include physical inspection, checking of electronic and
mechanical components, and system functionality testing after repairs. The results
of the Corrective Maintenance indicate that damage commonly occurs in the belt
drive system, stepper motors, and loose connection cables. After the repairs were
completed, the machine functioned properly again and was able to print with
precision. This Corrective Maintenance proves to be an effective solution for
maintaining the machine’s operational continuity and preventing more severe
damage in the future.
